Kayla has a passion for women’s health that began in high school. She first learned about NFP while assisting a home-birth midwife and listening to her god-mother talk about nutrition. It wasn’t until her senior year of college though that she finally began to actively learn about and promote fertility awareness. She thinks it’s silly that in a day and age where “vagina” and “penis” are shouted from the rooftops, some think she should whisper “mucus” and “fertility”. She and her husband have been using NFP since the start of their marriage and have been very pleased with it even during the learning stage. She also blogs at The Alluring World.
Katie is a happily married third year medical student. She had always considered herself a feminist until she realized that today’s run-of-the-mill feminist has nothing to do with actually being feminine. Since then she’s worked to maintain her genuine femininity and encourage other women to embrace their’s as well. Katie writes about her life as a pro-life Catholic medical student (quite the enigma), being a wife to Steven and dog-mom to Jack, and you guessed it: the joys and pains of practicing Natural Family Planning.
